Cloud programs only cover their own services, so back-to-back coverage assumes your workloads can run on that provider. "Credit surfing" between clouds is a real strategy — just budget for migration time.
We track 43 credit programs worth a combined $2.2M+ across cloud, AI, analytics, banking, and more — plus perks and grants on top.
Programs change tiers and add value all the time. One email a month with what's new and what's expiring.
For each program you select, we divide its maximum credit value by your monthly spend in that category: months covered = credit value ÷ monthly spend. The "cloud covered" and "AI covered" tiles stack the selected programs back-to-back, which mirrors how founders actually use them — burn through one provider's credits, then the next.
The values shown are each program's maximum tier. Most programs tier by stage: a bootstrapped company might start with $5–25K from AWS or Google and unlock the six-figure tiers after raising or joining an accelerator. Click through any program for its tiers, eligibility, and application steps.
Cloud credits only pay for that provider's services — Google credits can't pay your AWS bill. AI API credits are separate from cloud credits and stack freely on top.
The three major programs add up to over $600K: Google Cloud for Startups offers up to $350K (AI track), Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub up to $150K in Azure, and AWS Activate up to $100K. AI model providers like Anthropic, Together, and Mistral stack another $100K+ on top.
Yes. AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure credits come from separate programs and nothing stops you from claiming all three. The catch is that each provider’s credits only apply to its own services, so multi-cloud coverage assumes you can run workloads on that provider.
Most cloud credits expire 1–2 years after activation, and AI API credits often run 12 months. Claim them when you are ready to use them, and schedule your heaviest spend — model training, migrations, launches — inside that window.
Not for most tiers. Microsoft’s Founders Hub explicitly requires no funding or referral. The top tiers at Google Cloud and AWS want a VC or accelerator affiliation, but entry tiers are open to bootstrapped companies. Each listing shows its requirement.
